SMEs demand for external finance in the UK in 2014, by application frequency
The statistic presents the frequency of applications for external financing carried out by small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United Kingdom (UK) as of 2014. According to the survey, 43 percent of all SMEs had never used external finance. Further 33 percent of SMEs claimed that the last time their business sought external financing was more than three years ago.
