This statistic displays the distribution of arts organisations receiving regular public funding via the Arts Council in England in the fiscal year 2016/17, by region. Around a quarter of arts organisations subsidised by Arts Council England (ACE) were based in London. Another 8 percent of ACE funded organisations were based in the north west of England.
