The total number of fixed broadband connections in Spain has steadily increased between September 2015 and April 2024, climbing from approximately 12.8 million connections to over 17 million fixed broadband connections in the country. During this period, while the FTTH share in the connections increased rapidly, the xDSL connections decreased nearly as rapidly, dropping from eight million connections in September 2015 to only around 0.33 million connections in April 2024.
