The figures are estimates. The values have been rounded. Date of publication not specified. Figures prior to 2019 were taken from previous publications. In this data set, passenger cars are defined as road motor vehicles, except motorbikes, designed to provide room for no more than nine people (including the driver) that are intended for the carriage of passengers. The term includes taxis and rental cars, provided that they have fewer than ten seats. In some cases, this category may also include microcars or pickups.
