This statistic presents the relationship of small and medium enterprises (SME) with their banks according to SME employers in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2014. A total of 37 percent of businesses considered the relationship to be very good. Another 26 percent reported a fairly good relationship with their bank.

Question was read as follows: 'How would you describe your business's relationship with its bank? Please answer on a scale of 1 to 5, where one signifies the relationship is very poor and five that it is very good.' Survey was conducted among small and medium businesses with employees. Three categories were distinguished, based on employees numbers: micro businesses (1 to 9 employees), small businesses (10 to 49 employees) and medium businesses (50 to 250 employees).
