Overnight stays spent in French hotels Q1 2021, by geographic area
While more than half of the hotels in metropolitan France had their doors open again in the first quarter of 2021, occupancy rates remained low, which is also reflected in the number of overnight stays. A publication of the French national institute for statistical and economic studies revealed ski areas recorded the lowest number of hotel overnight stays in the first quarter of 2021. Meanwhile, urban areas came first with 7,196 hotel nights spent over the same period.
