Forecast cinema industry revenue in Spain 2016-2025
The source estimated that Spain's cinema industry would have generated more than 540 million euros in revenue by the end of 2022, up 83 percent from 296 million euros a year earlier. Despite the forecast growth, the 2022 figure would amount to less than 82 percent of the 661-million-euro figure recorded in 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak. Spain was among the leading filmed entertainment markets worldwide by revenue in 2020.
