The share of urban population in Poland saw no significant changes in 2023 in comparison to the previous year 2022 and remained at around 60.22 percent. However, 2023 marked the third consecutive increase of the share. The urban population refers to the share of the total population living in urban centers. Each country has their own definition of what constitutes an urban center (based on population size, area, or space between dwellings, among others), therefore international comparisons may be inconsistent.
