This statistic presents the share of Baby Boomers using digital banking in the United States in 2014 and a forecast thereof until 2019. In 2014, 58.2 percent of Baby Boomers performed digital banking and this figure was projected to increase to 60.8 percent in 2019.
Even though the number of mobile banking users in the United States was projected to increase from 36 million in 2009 to 111 million in 2016, the share of Baby Boomers accessing digital banking doesn't show a significant change. There is only 2.6 percent different in the share of digital banking users between 2014 and 2019. In 2015, 18 percent of Americans aged 60 and older used mobile banking.
