In the first half of the 2024, Biotech startups and companies received the most venture capital funding in Switzerland, amounting to 405.3 Swiss francs. This was a change in the investment trends when compared to the previous years when ICT sector emerged as the best funded sector. Moreover, ICT sector also fell behind of medtech sector, as more venture capital went to medtech start-ups than to ICT companies.
