This statistic illustrates the level of confidence in having enough savings to sustain a comfortable retirement in Germany as of 2017. It can be seen that amongst the people that were surveyed, 39 percent claimed that they were somewhat confident about enjoying a comfortable lifestyle after they retire. Although this was the case, a total of 41 percent of respondents in Germany stated that they were not confident that they would be able to retire with a lifestyle they consider comfortable as of 2017.
