This survey is based on the German-speaking population aged 14 years and older, in private households at the place of main residence.

2013: 8,702 respondents, projected base of 70.33 million persons
2014: 8,156 respondents, projected base of 70.52 million persons
2015: 7,009 respondents, projected base of 69.24 million persons
2016: 7,026 respondents, projected base of 69.56 million persons

Information on the target group "German-speaking online buyers":
2013: projected base of 43.95 million persons
2014: projected base of 44.16 million persons
2015: projected base of 45.33 million persons
2016: projected base of 47,01 million persons

The wording of the question was: "There are various services and products offered on the internet, which can be used or ordered and have to be paid for. There is a selection of those products on this list. Please indicate all those of which you would say: 'I do/use/buy this on the internet.'
