Mobile internet usage in Germany 2013-2019, by age
This statistic shows the share of internet users who also used mobile internet in Germany from 2013 to 2019, by age group. In 2019, roughly 96 percent of internet users aged between 16 and 24 years also accessed the internet from mobile devices. For the purpose of this statistic, persons who used the internet within the three months prior to the survey are defined as internet users or onliners. Persons who accessed the internet outside of their home or outside of work via a smartphone/mobile phone or a portable computer, like a laptop or a tablet, are considered as mobile internet users.
