Length of oil pipelines in Poland 1990-2023

As the most economical way to transport oil, oil pipelines are used to transport large quantities of oil, refined oil products, or natural gas over land. The market size of oil pipelines has increased significantly worldwide over the last few years. The pipelines are made from steel or plastic tubes and fitted with various kinds of insulation.
The total length of oil pipelines in Poland in 2009 was 2360 kilometers. From 2000 to 2013, the length of oil pipelines in Poland changed from 2278 kilometers in 2000 to 2444 kilometers in 2013. Overall, the length of oil pipelines in Poland increased from 1990 to 2023 by approximately 545 kilometers. In 2023, the length of oil pipelines in Poland reached 2,584 kilometers.
