This statistic displays the advertising spending by industry sector in Sweden in 2017. Advertising expenditure - or spending - is defined as the sum spent by companies on advertising and can be broken down by different channels such as television, radio, newspapers, magazines or digital and online media, as well as by industry sectors. In 2017, companies in the retail sector spent roughly 16.9 billion Swedish kronor on advertising in Sweden. In second and third place respectively came financial advertising with expenditures of more than 8.2 billion Swedish kronor and the advertising, information and organizations industry with ad spends of approximately 4.4 billion Swedish kronor.
