For the first time since 2015, Spanish families expenditure on seafood was close to 2,500 million euros in the last year analyzed. Thus, in 2019 an increase was again observed in the figure of household spending on this type of fish and that, in part, is related to a rise in the consumption of fish in the sales form of seafood.
