This statistic shows the share of international companies planning to use the Chinese yuan (CNY) as currency in cross-border trade as of February 2015, by country. During the survey, 35 percent of respondents from South Korea had stated to plan on using CNY for cross-border business in the future.

A total of 1,610 businesses had been interviewed in 14 markets until February 2015. Included markets were: Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Canada, United States, United Arab Emirates and Brazil
. All businesses selected for the survey had an annual sales revenue of three million U.S. dollars and above.
