This statistic shows the acceptance among international companies to use the Chinese yuan as currency for cross-border trade and settlements as of February 2015, by country. During the survey, 52 percent of respondents in Hong Kong had stated that they used Chinese yuan for conducting cross-border business.

A total of 1,610 businesses had interviewed in 14 markets until February 2015. Included markets were: Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Canada, United States, United Arab Emirates and Brazil
. All businesses selected for the survey had an annual sales revenue of 3 million U.S. dollars and above.
