Same-day visitors made nearly 23 million international trips recorded in Czechia in 2019. However, this number decreased to 6.2 million by 2021 due to all the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent travel restrictions. In 2023, the figure rose to over 20 million trips. The number of same-day visitors' trips was higher than the number of trips of inbound tourists staying overnight.
