Overnight tourists' trips to Czechia have increased each year since 2010. Inbound trips with length of stay being at least one night accounted for around 14.7 million arrivals to Czechia in 2019. Including same-day visitors, total inbound tourist trips reached more than 37 million in the same year. However, the number of overnight trips dropped to 3.9 million in 2020 and decreased even further to 3.77 million in 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent travel restrictions. In 2022, it increased to over 10 million trips.
