Tourism to Czechia has been rising each year since the start of the decade. Around 37.2 million international trips were recorded in the country in 2019, including same-day visitors and overnight tourists. However, this number dropped to 10.3 million in 2020 and even further decreased to 10 million in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent travel restrictions. In 2022, this figure rose to 26.6 million trips.
