Optical goods retail sales in specialized stores in Norway 2010-2024
Overall, the annual turnover from the retail sale of optical goods in specialized stores increased in Norway from 2010 to 2024. The sales value was around 3.3 billion Norwegian kroner in 2010. It amounted to approximately 3.2 billion Norwegian kroner in 2024.
Whereas retail sale of optical goods raise continuously, the wholesale of this product category fluctuated over the past years. Between 2010 and 2013, sales decreased, before recovering only a few years later. After another low in 2017, where the wholesale turnover amounted to 706 million Norwegian kroner, the value of optical goods sold in Norway increased up to 940 million Norwegian kroner in 2021.
