The total number of payment cards issued in Czechia from 2009 to 2021 increased year-on-year. As of 2023, there were approximately 14.9 million debit and credit cards in circulation on the Czech market. Over 844 billion Czech crowns worth of transactions were made with card in Czechia in 2019.
