This statistic depicts the volume of seafood and fish consumed in Spain from 2008 to 2020 (in million kilograms). It includes seafood, shellfish and other molluscs. In 2008, the total consumption volume of seafood and fish amounted to over 1.3 billion kilograms, but has since been progressively decreasing. Due to the census published by the INE, the data for 2013 were recalculated and, from that year onwards, a new series not comparable with previous data is started.
The 2013 data includes from December 2012 to November 2013.
