The total number of credit transfers, or wire transfers, made in the EU-27 as a whole has changed drastically between 2010 and 2023. The increase in the use of wire transfers took place during this period, despite some fluctuations. In 2023, approximately 32.42 billion credit transfers were processed in the region, up from almost 24 billion in 2010.
