This statistic displays the total volume of wine used in the internal market in Spain from 2009/2010 to 2015/2016. As can be seen, there was a downward trend until 2012/2013, when the internal market volume increased to over 16.1 million hectoliters and continued to increase the following year. The internal market consists of the volume of wine for retail consumption, industrial use and wine processing, as well as wine losses.
