The number of non-fatal road traffic injuries in Russia decreased by 27,837 individuals (-13.2 percent) since the previous year. In 2020, the number of non-fatal road traffic injuries thereby reached its lowest value in the recent years. Road injuries refer to the number of people harmed during a road accident involving at least one motor vehicle. These injuries can be fatal or non-fatal. Non-fatal injuries cover a broad spectrum of reported injuries, including but not limited to hospital stays after an accident.
