Smartphone ownership in Finland 2015, by brand

This statistic displays the distribution of smartphone ownership in Finland in August 2014, by brand. In August 2014, 32 percent of smartphone users in Finland owned a phone from the Lumia brand of Nokia. Additionally, 13 percent of Finnish smartphone users owned other Nokia-branded phone. The second most owned smartphone brand was Samsung which accounted for a share of 30 percent. The third most owned device was iPhone at 14 percent. Smaller shares were held by smartphone brands such as HTC, Huawei and Jolla, each accounting for 1 percent of Finnish smartphone users.
The total number of smartphone users in Finland in 2014 was 2.5 million. The number was forecasted to reach 3.8 million by the year 2019. The most known mobile phone company from Finland is Nokia. Other mobile phone companies from Finland include Jolla and HMD Global. Since 2017, HMD Global owns the rights to the Nokia smartphone brand.
