Shoppers Drug Mart (known as Pharmaprix in Quebec) is a Canadian full-service pharmacy retailer. Founded in 1962 by pharmacist Murry Koffler, the first Shoppers Drug Mart store revolutionized retail pharmacy by combining mass merchandizing and self-service. Today, there are more than 1,300 Shopper Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores across Canada.

In 2014, Shoppers Drug Mart was acquired by Loblaw Companies Limited, a company controlled by George Weston Limited. In addition to stocking Loblaw brands such as President’s Choice, Shoppers Drug Mart supply a range of private label brands including Life Brand, Quo and Sanis.

Shoppers Drug Mart is now among the leading pharmacy retailers in Canada, with one in three Canadians participating in their Shoppers Optimum loyalty program. In 2023, the company generated approximately 17.2 million Canadian dollars in retail sales, including nearly nine million Canadian dollars in pharmacy sales.
