Public health spending Canada 2024, by funding source| Statista

In 2024, health expenditure in Canada that was funded by the provincial government accounted for almost 65 percent of total health spending, whilst the federal direct funded 4.6 percent. Although the spending amount has increased in the time period analyzed, the share covered by sector has remained relatively constant, except in 2020, when federal spending increased due to the COVID pandemic.
