The personnel costs of the construction industry in Germany have increased between 2010 to 2021. Those costs have continuously risen during the past decade years. On average, construction companies spent roughly 48,620 euros on each employee. Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They also include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
