Italy: number of enterprises in the construction industry 2009-2022

The absolute majority of construction enterprises in Italy in 2022 had zero to nine people employed. That year, there were over half a million active construction enterprises. Meanwhile, there were approximately 110 enterprises with 250 or more employees. Only active units that had either turnover or employment at any time during the reference period should be included.
