Office vacancy rate in San Francisco Q1 2020-Q1 2023
Following the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the office vacancy rates in San Francisco have increased dramatically. From about seven percent in the first quarter of 2020, the share of vacant office space rose to about 24.8 percent in the first quarter of 2023. In terms of volume of vacant space, the North Financial District led the ranking.
