Spain: water transport industry personnel costs 2021

The personnel costs of the water transport industry in Spain increased by 30 million euros (+12.91 percent) in 2021 in comparison to the previous year. In total, the personnel costs amounted to 262.37 million euros in 2021. This increase was preceded by declining personnel costs in this industry.
Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
