In 2021, the number of employees in the rubber and plastic products manufacturing industry in Lithuania increased by 236 employees (+2.44 percent) since 2020. With 9,918 employees, the number of employees thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. The relationship of employer to employee exists when there is an agreement, which may be formal or informal, between an enterprise and a person, normally entered into voluntarily by both parties, whereby the person works for the enterprise in return for remuneration in cash or in kind.
