In 2021, the number of employees in the wearing apparel manufacturing industry in Lithuania decreased by 626 employees (-4.59 percent) since 2020. The number of employees thereby reached its lowest value in recent years. According to Eurostat employed persons are all persons aged 15 and over who performed work, even for just one hour per week, for pay, profit or family gain during the reference week or were not at work but had a job or business from which they were temporarily absent because of, for instance, illness, holidays, industrial dispute, and education or training.
