This statistic shows the usage penetration of mobile internet in France from 2010 to 2019, by study level. It reveals that the share of respondents with a higher education diploma that used the mobile Internet rose from 42.3 percent in 2010 to 82.9 percent in 2017 before breaking the 90 percent margin in 2019. Among respondents with a CEP or no diploma, the share of mobile internet users was 47.4 percent in 2019.

*CEP (Certificat d'études primaires): diploma awarded at the end of elementary primary education. It was discontinued in 1989.
**BEP (Brevet d'études professionnelles)and CAP (Certificat d'aptitude professionnelle): 2-year programs following lower secondary
school. DNB (Diplôme national du brevet): national exam taken at the end of lower secondary school.
*** Baccalauréat: diploma taken at the end of the lycée (high school), which is required to pursue studies at the university.
