It will not come as a surprise that High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), via their advisors (private banks and family offices), represent a strong source of finance for the sector. These investors have no particular formal or regulatory investment constraints to deal with (other than trans-generational wealth preservation), as opposed to most institutional investors and are therefore more open in general to long-term investment with different risk profiles."
