The statistic shows the value of assets excluded from investments in companies that produce munitions and anti-personnel landmines in selected European countries on the socially responsible ethical investments market as of 2013. Approximately 1.56 trillion euros worth of assets were excluded on the basis of Cluster Munitions and Anti-Personnel Landmines law in Switzerland alone.

These types of exclusions are applied in accordance with the Cluster-Munitions and Anti-Personnel Landmines law in Europe, as part of negative-screening strategies of socially responsible investment funds. Due to European diversity, the wide definition of responsible investment is any type of investment process that combines investors’ financial objectives with their concerns about Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues."
