The number of international tourist trips to Canada significantly declined in 2021. In that year, international tourists made approximately 4.28 million trips to Canada, down 15.5 percent over the previous year. Tourists from the United States made the most number of international trips, in 2021 followed by tourists from France and the United Kingdom.
