UK: tendency to leave lights on 2020

This statistic shows how likely respondents to climate change public attitude survey in the United Kingdom (UK) were to turn lights off when leaving a room, from 2012 and 2020. In March 2020, half of the respondents said they never leave lights on when they are not in the room.

Survey methodology up to March 2018 was a Kantar face-to-face omnibus survey. In March 2020, a temporary Kantar online panel type of survey was introduced, which was not based on a random sample of respondents. Due to a change in survey methodology, the source states that direct comparisons between time series is not possible.
