The number of overseas visitors to the British Museum in London, England, bounced back in 2022/2023, following a dramatic decline with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. After falling to just 3.2 thousand in 2020/2021, the number of overseas visitors to the renowned institution totaled approximately 2.5 million between April 2022 and March 2023. Despite the sharp increase, attendance by overseas visitors remained significantly below pre-pandemic levels.
