This statistic illustrates the type of property preferred for purchase on the private rental sector, according to the United Kingdom (UK) landlords in the first and second quarter of 2017. Types of residential real estate listed include: terraced houses, detached and semi-detached houses, bungalows, houses in multiple occupation, flats, maisonettes and other. In the second quarter of 2017, approximately 50 percent of landlords indicated their interest in purchasing terraced houses.
