Web browser market share in Germany in 2023

The market share, or the share of internet users in Germany who used different browsers to access the web in 2023 has changed. The data was collected on more than 17 billion page views per month worldwide and includes desktop, tablets and console based browsing. In 2023, Chrome had a 49 percent share of the German web browser market. Google Chrome has been increasing on the market slightly in most recent years. Safari also had a noticeable market share of 22 percent.
The web browser market shares in France, Italy and Denmark also showed a similar picture.
