Denmark: market share of web browsers 2024

Chrome was the browser with the largest market share in Denmark, as of August 2024. Its market share was roughly 58 percent that month and was followed by Safari with around 24 percent of the market share. Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Samsung Internet were other leading web browsers in Denmark for the evaluated period.

 Mobile browsers in Denmark

When it comes to mobile web browsers, the one with the biggest market share was Apple's Safari with nearly 57 percent of the total market as of April 2021. Chrome ranked second with roughly 36 percent of the market share. As of desktop web browsers, the positions were reversed: Chrome ranked first with roughly 70 percent of the market share and Safari came second with around 15 percent in April 2021.

 Worldwide browser market

Chrome has been the worldwide leader among mobile internet browsers since August 2014. As of July 2021, Chrome had a market share of roughly 64 percent, while Safari followed with approximately 24 percent. Samsung Internet and UC Browser had roughly six and and two percent of the market respectively.
