In 2021, the personnel costs of the telecommunications industry in Latvia increased by 13.9 million euros (+10.1 percent) since 2020. Therefore, the personnel costs in Latvia reached a peak in 2021 with 151.46 million euros. Personnel costs are made up of wages, salaries and employers' social security costs. They include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the employer, as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.

Personnel costs also include taxes and employees' social security contributions retained by the unit as well as the employer's compulsory and voluntary social contributions.
