The statistic presents the penetration of EMV compatible terminals in the United States from 2012 to 2013 and a forecast thereof until 2017. It was found that EMV card payment terminals constituted 14 percent of the U.S. terminals in 2013 and this figure was projected to increase to 87 percent in 2017.
