Bank branch numbers reduction in European countries 2012-2013
This statistic illustrates the decline in bank branch numbers in selected European countries between 2012 and 2013. In Spain, approximately 14 percent of branches operating before 2012 were closed by the end of 2013. Also, eight percent of bank branches in the Nordic regions and seven percent of branches in Italy were closed.
