Volvo car sales in Finland 2011-2023
Over the past decade, the number of Volvo cars sold in Finland fluctuated between around 7,100 and 9,200 new registrations. The sales of Swedish car manufacturer peaked at 9,200 cars in 2018. In 2023, nearly 7,300 Volvo cars were sold in Finland.
Toyota leads the sales of passenger cars
While Volvo cars recovered from their 2022 drop in 2023, the Swedish brand could not achieve as high sales as Toyota and Skoda, which were the leading passenger car brands in the country. In fact, Volvo ranked fourth when looking at the total car sales in Finland.
Sales of used Volvo cars
Even though Volvo could not reach the three leading brands in the sales of new cars, it fared better with the sales of used cars in Finland. While Volkswagen scored the highest also in this category, Volvo held the second place with roughly 51,000 used cars sold in 2018.
