In 2021, the share of campers in the each surveyed region of the United States increased over the previous year, in contrast to the declining share of campers in Canada that year. Northeastern U.S. reported the largest climb in the share of campers, recording a five percentage point increase in 2021. Meanwhile, only 64 percent of respondents from Canada went camping during the same period, amounting to four percentage points lower than in the year before.
